Writers Master Class

We have just begun our 'Writers Master Class' sessions with selected year five and six students who have a keen interest in polishing their writing skills. These students have been identified by classroom teachers and by school data.

The first series of master classes will be focused on narratives, we will look into the depths of the narrative genre and explore the possibilities in students writing. The first challenge has been set, to create a picture story book.

I have enjoyed working with the group during our first two hour session and can not wait to publish some of the work I have seen so far.

Administration and Staff-room refurbishment begins

As you may be now aware the Admin office area is now located in the old library and can be accessed through the door in the courtyard.

The demolition of the admin has begun and is now in full swing.

WELCOME TO THE 2011 SCHOOL YEAR

What a massive start to the year, we all have been very busy with everything that has been happening in and around the school.

The five & six grades and the Prep and one year one classes have moved into their refurbished buildings and they look great.

Our oval and new soccer pitch/aths track are well under way and are looking fantastic. When I walk around the yard and speak to students and parents, it seems that everyone agrees that when the area is completed it will be used to it's full potential and look fantastic.
